What did XBOXERS try to tell us? PS3 was broken. Now they're trying to tell us that wheels look like donuts. Do we believe them, give it up, already. These shots are taken indirectly from a TV. The actual game is going to look incredible. And is there a game that looks remotely similar on 360? After a year of it's life?

You can't make an omelette without breaking a few eggs. And the frying pan can get hot, but man, what an omelette! Oh! and the end justifies the means. The thing is, PS2 still ended up kickin XBOX ass. What does that say about XBOX?
I think judging by recent sales, people want both formats. Blu-ray, however, will have the edge, because it will have the great name Playstation, behind it. I know, I'm starting to sound like a damned commercial (I hate commercials).
DVD was a new format, Blu-ray is a new format. DVD was in the PS2. Blu-ray is in the PS3. PS2 was a reasonably priced DVD player. PS3 is a reasonably priced Blu-ray player. PS2 beat Dreamcast, Gamecube, and XBOX. Come on, you have got to see a pattern here.
And PS3 will do the same for Blu-ray. When I first got my PS2, I started watching DVD's. Yes, I was playing the games, but that didn't stop me from enjoying the DVD aspect. Blu-ray is just so much better. And the launch titles are so much better. The extra cost really will be worth it. It really is quite amusing reading XBOXERS comments supporting the HD-DVD add on. Not quite under a rock. I have three T.V.s, and three PS2's. I use them for games and DVD's and I have had no problem. Maybe there's a percentage that's defective but it doesn't bother me. I will conclude by saying the so called great sales of the XBOX 360 add-on, just proves 360 users want the functionality of a PS3. And they'll pay anything to get it.
I think people see the PS3 as more than just a toy! And 360 has like 8 million consoles out, compared to 400,000 PS3's so it wouldn't be hard to sell more add-ons, duh. I should think before I speak?! You don't need an add-on, but everyone else does, is that it? And brand loyalty for Playstation far outweighs any brand loyalty for XBOX. The overwhelming success of the PS2 proves that!
I have played DVD's and games extensively on my PS2 for more than 5 years. That statement you made mircoGamer is not a general one.
Your telling me sales are good for the 360 add-on. O.K. I will believe you for now. So that means after you all cried out about how useless and expensive Blu-ray was, you are all now going out and picking up an add-on for your 360. And you can't even play games on it? What a great review! And XBOXERS all said PS3 was broken. Sounds like it's working fine now. Heavenly Sword will be the killer app that will stir even the most jaded 360 user. I can't wait to get one. But I have too. Darn! And just like what PS2 did for DVD. PS3 will do for Blu-ray! HD-DVD doesn't stand much of a chance really.

Can anyone name an add-on for a console that has been successful? Because there hasn't been one. The history of console add-ons have been disastrous. Mainly because it creates two fields of developement. In this case DVD and HD-DVD. I bet my bottom dollar that if sales aren't good for the HD-DVD add on, they won't bother about many games. I think it's an original idea. How many games can you name that combine an alternate World War 2 environment with an alien invasion. I think you'd be lucky to count them on one hand.
